VENLO STYLE HOUSES
We offer Venlo greenhouses with single or alternating continuous gutter ventilation, with an optimum ventilation capacity, to produce the ideal greenhouse climate.
Ventilation drive is by means of geared racks and this is also available as a rail mechanism with push-pull tube. The advantages include: faster closing and opening times, less maintenance, less shadow effect and even better ventilation.
Side Ventilation
These Greenhouses are storm-proof and need no maintenance, due to the electric motors driving a rack and pinion system. They have a Guaranteed long lifetime of all components, because the ventilation system in the outside walls moves up or down as one in a frame.

MULTISPAN HOUSES
The AgrowSer Multispan Foil Greenhouse is suitable for large-scale soft fruit projects.
Span widths and gutter heights are flexible and can be designed according to your wishes. The construction is calculated according to the crop and growing system of your choice.
The roof is provided with single or double sided ridge ventilation, with option to install insect netting in the ventilation openings.
Different gable systems are possible, fixed with film, sliding or rolling gable ventilation, and sliding doors or rolling ports.
POLYTUNNELS
Polytunnels are structures used primarily in agriculture and horticulture to create a controlled growing environment for plants. They are similar in function to greenhouses but are generally more cost-effective and quicker to install.
Key Features of Polytunnels:
- Structure: Made of a metal or plastic frame covered with a durable, UV-stabilized polythene sheet.
- Size: Available in various sizes, from small garden tunnels to large commercial-scale installations.
- Ventilation: Can include roll-up sides, vents, or doors to control airflow and temperature.
Key Benefits of Polytunnels
- Extended Growing Season: Protects crops from cold, wind, rain, and excessive sunlight, allowing for earlier planting and later harvesting.
- Improved Crop Yields: The controlled environment supports faster growth and reduces pest and disease exposure.
- Cost-Effective: Cheaper to build and maintain than traditional glasshouses or greenhouses.
- Versatility: Used for growing vegetables, flowers, herbs, soft fruits, and even young trees.

RE-SKINNING
Re-skinning a polytunnel refers to the process of replacing the polythene cover that forms the outer shell of the tunnel.
Over time, the plastic cover can degrade due to exposure to UV rays, wind, rain, and temperature fluctuations, which reduces its effectiveness in protecting crops and regulating the internal environment.
Why Reskin a Polytunnel?
- UV degradation: Most polythene covers last around 5 to 7 years before becoming brittle or discoloured.
- Tears or damage: High winds, debris, or wear and tear can cause rips or holes.
- Reduced light transmission: As the plastic ages, it may become cloudy or dirty, decreasing the amount of sunlight plants receive.
- Improved energy efficiency: A new cover can help maintain better internal temperatures and reduce heating needs.
ETFE CLADDING
ETFE cladding in horticulture refers to the use of ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) film as a covering or glazing material for greenhouses, research facilities, or botanical environments.
It is an advanced alternative to traditional materials like glass or polythene, offering superior light transmission, durability, and environmental performance.
Why ETFE Cladding is Used in Horticulture
ETFE provides a high-performance growing environment, ideal for commercial growers, research institutions, and high-tech greenhouses where climate control, energy efficiency, and maximum light levels are critical.
Key Benefits of ETFE in Horticulture:
- Exceptional Light Transmission
ETFE allows up to 95% natural light, including useful UV wavelengths, essential for healthy plant growth and photosynthesis. - Lightweight and Flexible
Weighing around 1% of glass, ETFE reduces structural demands and is suitable for large-span or curved roof designs often used in modern greenhouses. - Durability and Longevity
ETFE is highly resistant to UV, chemicals, weathering, and tearing, with a typical lifespan of 20–30+ years, outperforming traditional plastic films.
- Self-Cleaning Surface
Its non-stick properties prevent dirt build-up, keeping light levels consistently high with minimal maintenance. - Thermal Efficiency
ETFE can be used in single or multi-layer “cushion” systems (inflated layers of film), providing insulation and reducing energy loss in heated glasshouses. - Customisable Performance
ETFE can be modified with light-diffusing, shading, or heat-retention properties, tailored to specific crop needs or climates.
