SCREENING IN YORKSHIRE

Ebtech Glasshouse Systems has successfully completed the installation of a new thermal screening system in Yorkshire. 

The installation covers just over 2,000m² and features cloth from the Harmony range offered by Svensson, which provides an impressive 47% energy saving along with a shading value of 57%. The screen system was a pull wire system driven by a Ridder RW 803 motor. 

The installation was completed in just over a week, in between crop turnarounds causing very little disruption for our client.

Thermal screens stabilize temperature fluctuations by retaining warmth at night and preventing excessive heat build up during the day. - Day and Night Cycle Management: The screen can be retracted during the day to allow sunlight in, and pulled across at night to trap heat, creating the ideal temperature conditions for plants around the clock.
