Restoring a section of glasshouse at the John Innes Centre in Norfolk
One of the latest Ebtech Glasshouse Systems projects has seen them restore a section of glasshouse at the John Innes Centre in Norfolk back to a traditional glazed area.
The small 64m² area was clad in sandwich panels around the perimeter walls & roof and housed old growth rooms, what Ebtech did was remove all the cladding and build it back up in glass.
An internal dividing wall was also built incorporating a sliding door.
The area will now have a thermal screen installed and will operate like a traditional glasshouse environment for experimental purposes.
Additional remedial works were also conducted in the other areas of the glasshouse.
A wonderful use of an otherwise unused area and a happy client.
