Ebtech Glasshouse Systems & Ebtech Construction combined to complete the supply & construction of a Portal frame building at Skirlaugh Garden Centre in East Yorkshire.
The building which measures 6.7m wide and 31m long, with a floor to gutter height of 2.9m was attached to an existing widespan glasshouse to increase the retail shop area of the garden centre.
The structure consisted of a cold rolled steel frame design to the latest Eurocode standard
The frame sections are manufactured from Z45 high tensile galvanised steel
The roof pitch was 22°
The building is clad in a white 40mm thick Kingspan composite panel, with each bay having a roof light panel
The new building tidies up the area that, before, was used as an outdoor gravelled car park
The works were completed to the overall satisfaction of our client, and we are looking forward to working with them on the next chapter in the development of their garden centre.
