Coletta & Tyson Garden Centre gets new automated entrance doors from Ebtech
With their current heavily used and worn away automated entrance doors causing problems, Coletta & Tyson Garden Centre again turned to Ebtech Glasshouse Systems to update them with more modern and suitable solutions.
We provided bi-parting doors for the main entrance and a larger version to enter into the plant area. Part of the criteria was to colour match the doors with the green section of their logo branding.
The main entrance area proved a challenge to retro fit, with the building not being square, a new framework was required and some slight alterations to the brickwork to ensure a perfect fit and the doors to open fully.
On the door to the Plant area, we were faced with a similar problem, but to a larger degree.
The client’s other criteria were that we standardise all doors to the same size, as well as colour, so with this in mind and having a three metre square area to fill we fitted two glass frames above the new bi parting doors to reduce the overall height to that of the new main entrance doors.
Both doors were fitted with sensors and a fail-safe open safety program.
